Welcome to the Garden Recall Beta.

Thank you for being one of the first gardeners to test Garden Recall. Over the next week, we want you to use the app as naturally as possible and tell us what you genuinely think.

    The most important instruction: use Garden Recall naturally.
    Don't change how you talk because you think the app will understand you better.
    Record the things you would actually want to remember about your garden,
    explore the app, and ask Ask My Garden real questions.

Create Your Account

Open Garden Recall and create your account. Once you're signed in, you're ready to begin.

Use It

That's really it.

We intentionally aren't giving you a testing script. Use Garden Recall as if nobody had told you what to do with it.

What Should I Record?

Anything happening in your garden that you might want to remember later. For example:

Something you planted or transplanted
A harvest
A pest or disease problem
A treatment you tried
Something unusual you noticed
A task you need to remember
A change you made in the garden
Or simply what you're seeing during a garden walk-through

Speak normally. You don't need special wording, categories, or commands.

Try Ask My Garden

As your garden history grows, ask Ask My Garden questions you genuinely want answered.

Don't worry about whether you think Garden Recall should know the answer. We want to understand what gardeners naturally expect it to remember.

If an answer seems wrong, please tell us the question you asked and what you expected the answer to be.

Known Issues

Garden Recall is still in beta. Some features are being refined and you may encounter bugs or unexpected results.

Please don't avoid these areas. Continue using the app normally and report anything that looks wrong.

🌱 Harvests

Garden Recall generally recognizes harvests well, but occasionally a harvest may be recognized in your recording without appearing correctly in the plant's Harvest history.

Ask My Garden may also occasionally miscalculate totals when summarizing multiple harvests, particularly across several plants or garden locations.

Please still record harvests normally. We'd especially like to know when the amount shown in Garden Recall doesn't match what you actually harvested.

✅ Tasks

Tasks can be recognized from recordings, but some task information may not appear consistently everywhere you expect to see it, including Recording History or the Garden Brief.

You may also occasionally see similar tasks created more than once. You have the option to delete any similar but unwanted tasks.

🐛 Garden Problems & Treatments

Garden Recall can identify many pests, diseases, and garden problems, but some problems or treatments mentioned in a recording may occasionally be missed or classified incorrectly.

Garden Recall may also have difficulty recognizing when something you previously reported has been resolved.

⭐ Worth Your Attention

Some items in Worth Your Attention may remain visible after they are no longer relevant, and the number shown may not always match all of the items displayed.

Options for dismissing or resolving some types of items are also still being refined.

🧠 Ask My Garden

Ask My Garden is working and we'd love for you to really test it.

It generally does well recalling observations, problems, tasks, plants, and garden history. More complicated questions—especially questions requiring totals across many harvests, plants, dates, or locations—may occasionally produce an incorrect or incomplete answer.

If an answer looks wrong, please report the question you asked and what you expected the answer to be.

🗑️ Deleted Recordings

Deleting a recording may not currently remove all of the garden information that was originally created from that recording.

For beta testing, please assume that some information associated with a deleted recording could remain elsewhere in your garden history. This information can always be manually deleted.

📍 Garden Areas

Garden-area recognition has improved significantly, but location names may occasionally be simplified or interpreted differently from how you said them.

Please be careful when deleting a Garden Area. A deletion confirmation may not currently appear. This is being corrected in the next update.

🧭 Navigation

We're already making one navigation change based on our own testing.

Currently, Plants, Varieties, and Tasks are located under Settings → My Profile. In an upcoming update, My Profile will replace Settings in the bottom navigation so your garden information is easier to access. Settings will then be available from within My Profile.

You don't need to report the current placement as a bug, but we'd still love to hear about anything else in the navigation that feels confusing or takes too many steps.

📸 Photos

Photos can currently be selected from your device's photo library. Taking a new photo directly from within Garden Recall may not yet be available.

Most Important: Tell Us What You Notice

      This list isn't meant to tell you what to test.

      We're especially interested in things we don't already know about.

      Record naturally. Ask Ask My Garden real questions. Explore your plants and
      garden history. Try things.

      If something feels confusing, inaccurate, inconvenient, surprisingly useful,
      or simply doesn't behave the way you expected, we want to hear about it—even
      if it isn't technically a bug.

Your experience using Garden Recall is just as important as whether every button works.
